Affordable Housing Lottery launched for 211 East 203rd Street in Bedford Park, Bronx
The Affordable Housing Lottery has been launched for The Bedford, a 13-story residential building located at 211 East 203rd Street in Bedford Park, in the Bronx. Designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning and developed by partners Housing and Services Inc. and Robert Sanborn Development, the structure has 108 residences. Available on NYC Housing Connect, 41 units for residents at 40 to 80 percent of the area’s median income (AMI), ranging from $ 0 to $ 103,120.
Residents will have access to a community hall, several lounges, bicycle lockers, a shared laundry room, a library, a learning center, a landscaped backyard and a rooftop terrace. The units include energy efficient appliances and air conditioning.
At 40% of the MAI, there are two studios with a monthly rent of $ 592 for incomes ranging from $ 22,800 to $ 38,200 and 11 one bedroom apartments with a monthly rent of $ 740 for incomes ranging from from $ 28,218 to $ 42,960.
At 50 percent of the MAI, there are eight one-bedroom apartments with a monthly rent of $ 0 for incomes ranging from $ 0 to $ 53,700.
At 80% of the MAI, there are two one-bedroom apartments with a monthly rent of $ 1,400 for incomes ranging from $ 50,846 to $ 85,920 and 18 two-bedroom apartments with a monthly rent of $ 1,681. $ for revenues ranging from $ 61,372 to $ 103,120.
Potential tenants must meet income and household size requirements to apply for these apartments. Applications must be stamped or submitted online no later than November 15, 2021.
